Food photography - Kudoku sushi
The photos of this session were destined for the digital menu for your WhatsApp account.
As it is a small space, it was not convenient to set up a scenery, or an environment, but the priority was to show each product in detail. So the solution was to take shots of each product isolated and at the same angle, in such a way that you could see the interior, its ingredients.
On the other hand, I found it necessary to distinguish the types of product (rolls, nigiris, makis, etc.) by means of a background color. These colors are from real cardboard, which were present at the session. I made myself a table out of pipes and glass, and positioned the lighting in such a way that the product does not cast any shadows that appear in the shots. This is how I managed to isolate them and give the sensation that they are floating, suspended in the air. In the video you can see the backstage and the lighting scheme, and below everything there are links that show how the menu turned out, and also an extra that I made for you, some animations to put in the background of your social media posts.
