Branding design: Ringo footwear

The aim of this project was to deepen the very essence of the Ringo brand, reinforcing its unique identity. To do so, the strategy was to go beyond the pre-existing logo design, and to add elements to achieve an emotional connection with consumers. A visual criterion was developed to feed the brand narrative in order to improve the customer experience, and this was applied directly into the products.

I began by creating photomontages showing combinations of different colours and textures of leathers and fabrics, taking as a reference the design trends of leading brands in Europe:

Design of the company's birth year stamp, highlighting its history, to be heat-stamped on leather:

Alternative logo design to be printed with silkscreen on the urban footwear line of products.

I developed brand identity application on a Ringo Active sneaker model, where the concept was to create morphological variables of the letter "A".
In this case, all the alternatives were created using the artificial intelligence incorporated in Photoshop, Adobe Firefly. I entered prompts to obtain as a result different textures of leather, fabric, perforations, embossings, stitches, etc.

For the Outdoor footwear products, I designed a tag that indicated that the leather was water-resistant, so the words “WATERPROOF LEATHER” were combined with an icon of a drop of water with a checkmark. In the factory, they are attached to the product with a plastic seal, and are made by cutting and sealing the same leather that they are made from. By the way, the label has the shape in which leather is commonly represented.
